17th International Fajr Film Festival Winds Up

TEHRAN 17Th International Fajr Film Festival wound up here yesterday in a special ceremony at Vahdat Hall. The results of competitions at domestic and international section of the festival are as follows: The best film prize went to Masaeb'e Shirin by Alireza Davoodnejad. The nominees for the best film prize included The Sweet agony by Alireza Davoodnejad, Hiva by Rasool Mollaqolipour, Two Women by Tahmineh Milani, The best director prize went to Rasool Mollaqolipour for the film Hiva. The nominees for the best director prize included Alireza Davoodnejead, Rasool Mollaqolipour, Majid Majidi, Ebrahim Hatamikia and Tahmineh Milani. Tahmineh Milani won the best scriptwriter prize for his film Two Women. Nominees for the prize included Hamid Jebbeli for Son of Maryam, Alireza Davoodnejad for The Sweet Agony, Rasool Mollaqolipour for Hiva, Tahmineh Milani for Two Women and Ahmadreza Mo'tamedi for Ugly and Beaut Mohammadreza Foroutan won the first best actor prize for playing role in the film The Red Ribbon. The nominees for the prize included Reza Davoodnejad (The Sweet Agony), Mohammadreza Foroutan (The Red Ribbon), Jamshid Hashempour (Hiva), Akbar The first best actress prize went to Hadieh Tehrani for playing role in Red. The nominees for the prize comprised Hedieh Tehrani (Red), Niki Karimi (Two Women), Golchehreh Sajjadieh (Hiva), Fatemeh Goodarzi (Victorious Fighter) and Leila Hatami Hussein Mahjoub and Ehteram al-Sadat won the best supporting actor and actress prize for playing in the films The Color of God and Masaeb'e Shirin respectively.
Hussein Alizadeh won the best music prize for composing the music of the film The Beautiful and Ugly. The nominees for the prize included Mohammad Reza Aliqoli (Red Ribbon), Hossein Alizadeh (Ugly and Beautiful) and Baabak Bayat (Red). The best photography prize went to Bahram Badakhshani for the film Hiva. The nominees for the prize comprised Bahram Badakhshani (Hiva), Mohmoud Kalari (Red), Hossein Pouya (Red Ribbon) and Hossein Ja'farian (Two Women). The best editor prize went to Haydeh Safiyari for the film Red Ribbon. The nominees included Hossein Zandbaf (Hiva), Rouhollah Emami (Red), Haydeh Safiyari (Red Ribbon), Kiomars Pourahmad (The Sweet Agony) and Mohammadali Sajjai (The Actor). The best sound effect prize went to Mohammadreza Delpak or the film The Color of God. The nominees for the prize included Mohammadreza Delpak (The Color of God), Mohsen Roshan (Red Ribbon), Bahman Ardalan (Hiva), Mohammadreza Delpak (Victorious Fighter) and Masood Behnam (Ugly and Beautiful). Bahman Ardalan won the best sound effect prize for the film Hiva. The best make-up prize went to Masood Valadbeigi for the film Ugly and Beautiful. The nominees included Mehrdad Mirkiaee (Red Ribbon), Masood Valadbeigi (Ugly and Beautiful), Fereidoun Keshenfallah (Sheida), Abdollah Eskandari (Hiva), Seyed Mohsen Mousavi and Nazi Heshmati (The Color of God). And finally the best stage-designing prize went to Ali Nedakar and Behnaz Nazi for the film Hiva. The nominees included Parviz Sheikhtadi (Red Ribbon), Ali Nedakar and Behnaz Nazi (Hiva), Malek Jahan Khazaei (Two Women), Asqar Nejad Eimani (The Color of Meanwhile the film Bacheha-ye Asseman was selected as one of the five hops for the Oscar prize.
